Instructions for using database
  • Searching the database for articles by a specific author can be completed by either typing out the authors full name in the "Query” search function or by searching using the separate "Author Search” Function.
  • If using the Query Search, type the authors first and last name in the Query box e.g. David Miller, and select the ‘Author’ check box below.
  • A general author search can also be conducted in the "Query” function, using either surname or first name, and a list of articles containing this name in the author list is provided, e.g. searching for "David”, will provide all articles with the name "David” in the author list.
  • If using the "Author Search" Function, simply select the drop down list which lists all authors on the database by surname. Type the first letter of the surname to be taken to that part of the list.
