WICA 2023: XVI World Insurance Congress “Insurance Upside Down”
30 August to 1 September 2023 | Melbourne, Australia
The Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA) is proud to announce Melbourne as the host city of the 16th AIDA World Congress in 2023.
“Insurance Upside Down” will provide over 600 delegates from a broad industry background with a world class educational and social program.
Globally, AILA is regarded as the most successful chapter of AIDA (Association Internationale de Droit des Assurances) through our educational program and broad membership base.
The World Congress is held every four years in a country selected by the AIDA Presidential Council following an international bidding process. The event returns to Australia for the first time in 28 years, having last been held in Sydney in 1994. At the time, that conference was highlighted as the best world congress to have been held to date – and we want to surpass that accolade in 2023.
We invite you to join us and attend the 2023 World Congress.
Melbourne is Australia’s second largest city with a population of over five million and is known for being one of the most livable cities on earth. It is often referred to as the ‘Sporting Capital of the World’.
Melbourne has something for everyone: culture, beaches, food, history and nature. It is also famous for its graffitied laneways, excellent coffee, and bayside location.
Details in relation to the Congress is available via the website www.wica2023.com.
